

This poster focuses on the ancient Greek myth of Tiresias, the blind prophet of Apollo in Thebes, known for his clairvoyance. One day he came across two snakes and killed them. When Hera found out she punished Tiresias by changing him into a female. He was this way for seven years until he happened on two snakes again and left them alone. It was only then he was able to change back into a man. As for his blindness, Tiresias he accidentally saw Athena while she was bathing and she blinded him. Unable to cure him he was bestowed the gift of understand birdsong and to utter oracles.
